Winter Activities

Our modest 3,700 feet elevation allows you to enjoy the snow without the fear of being snowed in at Sierra Ranch Retreat. The 8,000 foot mountain peaks provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy the snow and all your favorite winter activities making us the perfect winter destination.

Ride a snowmobile, snow shoe or cross country ski amidst the majestic snow capped mountains catching a view of the beautiful valley below. Evening Porch Time

A Sierra Ranch Retreat favorite, porch time gives you or your group the opportunity to sit back, enjoy a glass of wine and converse about the day’s amazing events or fond memories of times past. The large covered porch that encompasses the front of the log home provides the perfect picturesque back drop for a fine evening of wining and dining. With plenty of posh seating available this phenomenal covered porch is large enough to comfortably accommodate 50 yet intimate enough to be enjoyed by two. Regardless of the number or group we at Sierra Ranch Retreat are positive that porch time will be a hit at your special occasion!

Slide Show of Day’s Activities

Why wait until the vacation ends to reminisce on the fun and exciting adventures that were had at the Sierra Ranch Retreat, when you can do it at the end of each day! We are pleased to provide our guests the opportunity to create their very own slide show by simply taking photos with their digital camera throughout the day. These photos will then be turned into an action packed slide show staring you, your family and friends created by our staff! What better way to make the most of your luxurious vacation getaway than to truly enjoy and experience each and every moment.

Outdoor Movie

Too young to remember drive-in movies or just plain disappointed they disappeared? At Sierra Ranch Retreat we have reinvented the drive-in with our outdoor movie option. Picture sitting underneath a vast star lit sky listening to the amazing night sounds, cuddled up in a warm cozy blanket as your favorite movie comes on the large screen. Perfect for groups or an intimate occasion for two, this evening activity is sure to be a favorite!
